Ross Bowell is the Business and Finance Director and Company Secretary of Ringwood School. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an Advanced Diploma in School Business Management from the National College and a Certificate in Treasury Management – Public Finance from the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He has experience across the full range of school back-office operations and can provide guidance and hands-on support in academy conversion, financial accounting, management accounting and reporting, risk and assurance management, treasury management, procurement, regulatory compliance, strategic business planning, ICT, facilities and H&S management, capital project management, income generation, HR, payroll and governance.
Hannah Belben has been part of the science leadership team at Ringwood School in Hampshire for six years. Her SLE accreditation and curriculum focus is in Science. She has worked collaboratively on a number of projects with colleagues, both in school and across the region, including cross phase work, and has previously led and facilitated a thinking skills project across the school for a number of years. She is also a Teaching and Learning coach who supports colleagues in improving classroom practice.
Jo Taylor is a pastoral leader and a Geography teacher at Ringwood School in Hampshire, having previously been Head of Year for KS4 for 8 years. Her SLE accreditation and specialism is student behaviour and closing the gap for vulnerable students in both primary and secondary schools. Jo has worked both within Ringwood School and through local counties supporting the attainment of vulnerable students with a particular specialism with Children in Care.
Karen Maselino is the ICT Faculty lead at Winton Arts & Media College in Bournemouth. Her curriculum specialisms are ICT & Computing across all the secondary key stages and she has worked collaboratively on primary cross phase ICT projects. She has significant experience in using ICT and progress data to facilitate outstanding teaching & learning. Karen’s strengths are also in Assessment for Learning, and she has been seconded by the Local Authority to deliver presentations to NQT’s on how embed good practice. Karen has been accredited as an SLE for ICT, Computing and data.
Rachel Heaver Webb
Rachel Heaver Webb is Assistant Headteacher at Ringwood School, in the teaching and learning sphere, with specific responsibility for assessment and data. She is an English and Media teacher by trade and was previously an AST working for Dorset County Council at post 16 across the curiculum. Her SLE specialism is Teaching and Learning, English and post 16.
Elaine Parfitt is an AST at Ringwood School with a focus on Teaching and Learning. She has experience of providing individual and focused support for staff, and delivering whole school Inset training on a range of initiatives. Prior to this she was the Head of an outstanding department: Business and Economics. Her teaching experience is focused at key stages 4 and 5. Elaine has a particular interest in behavioural management, and innovative and inspirational classroom pedagogy. She has facilitated learning forums on both of these issues at Ringwood School. Elaine has been accredited as an SLE for Teaching and Learning at Secondary Level.
Louise Wornell is an AST in MFL at Ringwood School in Hampshire and has been carrying out cross phase outreach work for the past 10 years. Louise has a range of experience in facilitating and creation of CPD training to support high quality teaching and learning. She also supports staff in learning and teaching and coaches teachers to improve their practice in the classroom.
